Since its release in June, the HTC touch has sold over 800,000 units. And even with the iPhone on the market, it’s not hard to see why.

Despite running on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 Professional, and with a wealth of features such as 64MB of onboard RAM, 128MB of onboard ROM and a bundled 1GB microSD card, the main selling point is its 2.8" LCD touch screen.

Unlike the its competitors (well, the iPhone), the Touch lets you launch applications, read emails, and access web sites by sliding your finger around on the screen thanks to its TouchFLO software.

This gives the phone an incredibly responsive, and quite satisfying, feel as well as opening up numerous possibilities for customization.
